When you're busy planning for Christmas Day, it's easy to forget about what to wear. In our final style guide with Jo Elvin, Editor of YOU Magazine, she shares her two perfect outfits for a day of eating, drinking and merrymaking. Both stylish, comfy and striking just the right festive tone.
Whether you're making Christmas dinner or tucking into it, comfort is key. So a berry red tunic dress is ideal – it's loose fit lets you dash about the kitchen or allows room for extra pudding! For post-dinner walks, add a tonal wool-rich coat and faux fur scarf to stay toasty and chic.
If dresses aren't your style, wear comfy culottes instead. Choose a pair in a rich, mulberry hue to be suitably festive, and keep the colour theme going with accessories in deep shades of crimson.
